Sydney Part 2 – Pets in Sydney

in: Travel

Here’s a collection of photos taken from the Wildlife World, the Aquarium, and Taronga Zoo. All the snoozing Koalas inspire me to also take… a … nap… now… *yawn*  Zzzzzz…

Sydney Part 1 – Darling Harbour

in: Travel

Ahh… Darling Harbour… home to the Wildlife World, Aquarium, and the IMAX. A place to go for a lip-smacking good meal (read Hurricane ribs!) or just kick back and relax and bask in the evening glow of the sky as the sun descends into the horizon.

Melbourne Part 4 – Feathered, Finned, and Furry Friends

in: Travel

Took a tour to Phillip Island to watch the penguins returning to shore after a day out in the sea hunting for food. Was kind of disappointed that I didn’t get to take any photos of the penguins at the island, but I could understand the rationale behind it and appreciated the efforts to protect the penguins. However all was not lost as I stepped into the Melbourne Aquarium, for they had a huge glass exhibit filled with penguins! The little (and some not so little) birds were popular with the young and the young at heart and it’s not hard to see why, for our feathered friends are really adorable!

Melbourne Part 3 – Great Ocean Road

in: Travel

The drive along the Great Ocean Road is one of the most scenic drives in the world! The roads are pretty windy though, so some might find their breakfast attempting to make a reappearance along the way.  Well, even then, it would be nitpicking as the many breath-taking stops will soon have everyone in awe.

Melbourne Part 2 – St. Kilda & Street Art

in: Travel

St. Kilda beach is a mere 20-minute tram ride from Melbourne CBD. It’s a great venue for those who wish to take a stroll along the idyllic sandy beaches after work or during the weekends. Nestled in the heart of St. Kilda is Luna Park, an amusement park which has become an iconic landmark in St. Kilda.

Melbourne’s street art, inspired by the graffiti of New York City, is alive with color, injected with humor, and artistically motivating. I spent a lot of time browsing through these wonderful artwork on walls!

Melbourne Part 1 – CBD

in: Travel

Melbourne is a really awesome city! It’s hip yet cozy, lots to see yet easily accessible, and since it was just the end of winter when I made my trip there, it was freezing yet burning hot at the same time!

My Ride 2 – Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version 8

in: Me

I finally shot some wide-angled photos of my ride. Been wanting to do this for some time already… my previous shots on my car were all close-ups. Have gotten a few requests from friends to shoot it so that the whole car would be visible. So, presenting…my ride! Enjoy :)

Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version 10

in: Events

I joined Motor Image (MI) on a photo shoot outing in Putrajaya. The folks from MI brought out the UK spec 2.5 liter STi and I had a blast in this event!
Had a friendly tussle between my version 8 STi and the MI version 10 STi on the highway during the convoy to Putrajaya. Got the chance to meet FHM model Jezamine Lim during the shoot as well. ;)

Lee & Nicole

I had the opportunity to shoot some pre-wedding photos for Lee & Nicole at Tamarind Springs. There was a slight drizzle halfway through the shoot, but thanks to those who were there to lend a hand, it turned out be a fun and fruitful event! :)

Hong Kong

in: Travel

Went for a short trip to Hong Kong beginning of Dec 2008. Was really nice to get away from the usual “summer” heat that we get back home all year long. However, there were times when it was really C-C-CCCOLD!! I thought after spending a few years in Michigan and Chicago, the winter in HK wouldn’t be a problem. Boy was I mistaken! Then again, it’s been almost 10 years since I left Chicago… :)
