Satya & Priyya’s Wedding Day

We are so thrilled to photograph the beautiful wedding of Satya & Priyya. The celebrations spanned over 5 events in 4 days. The first event was the registration of marriage at their home, followed by the nalangu ceremony and sangeet/mehendi at Glasshouse Seputeh, to the wedding ceremony at Sime Darby Convention Center, and finally to their wedding dinner at St Regis Kuala Lumpur. The wedding was graced by several VIP’s, notably Malaysia’s Prime Minister Tun Mahathir, Dato’ Ambiga, Dato’ Bernard Chandran, and Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 Deborah Henry.

Each of the ceremonies was like a beautiful symphony with notes of elegance, sophistication, colour, and vibrance. There was never a dull moment and our cameras never stopped clicking as we also indulged ourselves in the festivity of the celebrations.

In the bridal party, there were two couples – Sham & Vijay as well as Tanu & Thiri, for whom we had the pleasure of shooting their weddings as well a few years ago. So apart from the assignment itself, I enjoyed the little reunion that we had over the week.
